Battery Charging Issues

Common battery charging problems and solutions for Aiwit Doorbell Cameras

Having trouble charging your Aiwit Doorbell Camera? Here are the most common issues and solutions.

Has the insulation strip been removed?

Please check for a transparent or black insulating strip on the bottom of the battery. Ensure it has been removed before attempting to charge.

Trying a different charger

Has the battery charged successfully before? Consider trying a different charger to determine if it's a charger issue. Typically, it takes about 14 hours to fully charge using a 5V1A charger.

You can check the battery charging status on:

  • Real-time preview interface
  • Device information in settings
  • Device interface under the camera main image

How long does a charge last?

Did the battery come pre-charged?

Yes, the batteries have been pre-charged.

Does each camera need its own solar panel?

Yes, each camera requires a solar panel for charging. This approach enables it to supply sustainable power for the device throughout the year.
