Learn when your Aiwit doorbell camera starts recording videos
The device will be awakened and start recording and sending notifications in the following situations. At other times, it will be in sleep mode to conserve device power.
Recording Triggers
1. Doorbell Button Press
When someone presses the doorbell button, the device immediately wakes up and starts recording.
2. Live Preview Access
When you view the real-time preview through the app, the device activates (without a notification message).
3. Motion Detection
When the device detects motion in its field of view, it automatically starts recording.
Sleep Mode
To conserve battery power, the device enters sleep mode when none of the above triggers are active. This helps extend battery life while ensuring the device is always ready to capture important events.
